Jonathan Alun Jones

Jonathan was the youngest child of Norma and Elwyn Jones born on the 11th of March 1961 in Bangor. Jonathan attended Ysgol Cae Top then Ysgol Friars and got accepted to Lancaster University to study Biology.

Jonathan married Eirian on the 26th of September 1987 and they had 2 daughters together Hannah and Tesni. So he was the man of the house and wore the trousers he just knew that the women in his life decide which ones he wore. He attended every dance show, school play, award ceremony, graduation, house move etc. When Hannah and Tesni were young they went on family holidays to France and as they got older visited Spain, Greece and even went to Florida!!

Jonathan had many jobs including nhs manager, odd jobs man, chauffeur and hairstylist! If you were ever in need of a hand he would always be the first to help!

Jonathan loved boats!!

He built a rowing boat which was tested in Llanberis and floated. He than moved on to a different kind of boat but after struggling with the controls he sold it and bought another one. After a few year he sold that boat and in 2004 he bought the Tangerine Dream a boat that he fixed up and then spent many an evening cruising up and down the Menai Straits on.

To celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary Eirian and Jonathan were gifted a Canal Boat holiday. They also went on many other adventures together including Sorrento, Rome and even when on a cruise to Alaska.

He will be always loved and never forgotten.
